On Saturday, September 1st at 2pm there will be a 50th Anniversary fly-in potluck for everyone that has been a resident owner or grew up at Shady Acres Airport.

The event is at the Wicklander hangar. Those who have lived at Shady Acres will know where that is. For those of you who don’t know about Shady Acres, it is a residential airport. Instead of sharing a community park, their homeowners association shares an airstrip. It is located on the boundary between Frederickson and Elk Plain and crosses 208th Street East between 42nd and 46th Avenues.
