Governor Chris Gregoire joins President Obama in directing all Washington State and United States flags at Washington State government facilities be lowered to half-staff in memory of Neil Armstrong on Friday, Aug. 31, the date of his interment.

 Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business on Friday.  Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.
