The new Bethel Learning Center dedication will be at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13. The BLC is an educational facility that features three meeting spaces and a kitchen, which will be available for district and community use. Funding for the center was made possible through state and federal grants and by generous donations from our community, including the Bethel community Foundation. On October 27, there will be a Fall Harvest event at the new Bethel Learning Center. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will benefit the over 300 homeless kids in the Bethel School District. Many of these kids live south of 224th Street and do not have access to transportation to the F.I.S.H. Food Bank. There will be booths with vendors providing a chance to shop and there will be various entertainment to delight visitors. Participants   have the opportunity to sponsor the FEED the Children Project.
