Dr. Terry McLaughlin created the Operation Identification card program in 1997. He spent eleven years with the Tacoma Police Department as head police chaplain. He has pastored two churches in Seattle and Tacoma, served as a youth pastor in Chicago’s inner city in the 1960’s, served on the school board in the Bethel School District.
But the Post was visiting the Tacoma Farmer’s Market September 20 and spotted Dr. Terry’s Pies. There, hanging from the corner of the tent, was a blue ribbon from the Puyallup Fair. Dr. Terry is holding up the blue ribbon winning pie. The flavor? Chocolate, peanut butter with Almond Roca® topping.
Of course, the apple strudel, rhubarb squares and other tasty pastries looked delicious too. He even has some products available at the Hotel Murano. Congratulations, Dr. Terry.
