Waived fees at National Parks Sept. 29 for National Public Lands Day

Saturday, September 29 is National Public Lands Day. These parks, forests, wildlife refuges, historic trails, native streams, wetlands nature centers, gardens and other landmarks represent irreplaceable natural treasures. Fees are waived Saturday the 29th of September 2012 for this one day event.

Visitors are encourages to use this opportunity to participate in special projects to enhance, clean and protect these sites.
