Several times a year, the Bethel School District offers tours for the public to observe classroom operations across the district.
Since the time most parents went to school, classroom technology and teaching techniques have changed, these tours provide an opportunity to see kids in their learning environment. It also provides a chance to give feedback to the district.
The next Future School Tour is on Thursday, October 11. This Thursday’s tour will stop at Thompson Elementary, Roy Elementary, and Spanaway Middle School. The tour will begin at the district office, the Educational Services Center (ESC) at 7:45a.m. and will last about four hours. Participants will board a school bus and be transported the to sites. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
Additional dates for Future Schools Tours are November 13, January 10, February 7 and March 7. Community members who wish to participate should contact Ann Varkados or Jerri McKeown at 253-683-6016.
