Bethel Learning Center dedication & community celebration at Bethel High School Saturday

Workers are scrambling to finish the Bethel Learning Center for the Dedication this Saturday

On Saturday morning, 130 vendors and exhibitors will set up in Bethel High school from the Cafeteria through the hallways to the gymnasium. The will include Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium with four as yet unnamed creatures, and Rhubarb and Blitz, the mascots from the Tacoma Rainiers and Seattle Seahawks. The Eatonville Dance Center, Hula Halau ‘O Kealaakua, Drums Alive, along with many other local non-profits, medical groups and businesses. Tours of Shining Mountain Elementary will also be available for those who would like to see the remodeled elementary.

The ROTC from several schools will show off their skills as will several district choral and musical ensembles. The new 723 Networking Group from Elk Plain/Spanaway will raffle off a television as a door prize. They area a group of local businesses that recognize the benefits to being involved with the community. You may even be able to pick up the only hard copies of the Pierce Prairie Post ever written.

Pierce County Skills Center Phase 2A Dedication Oct. 16

The Pierce County Skills Center Dedication Ceremony for Phase 2A is next Tuesday at noon. Please try to carpool, on site parking will be limited. RSVPs for this event are not required, though they are appreciated.
