The Parkland-Spanaway Kiwanis will be holding their 10th annual “Holiday Magic” Dinner Auction on October 27th at the Spanaway Lake High School. The silent auction begins at 5 p.m. and the live auction at 7 p.m. It is their major event to raise money for scholarships given in the Bethel and Franklin Pierce School Districts. They hope to raise $50,000 for scholarships for worthy high school graduates this year. Individual tickets to the event are $30.
Catering the event will be Joeseppi’s Italian Restaurant, dinner is at 6:30 p.m. Joe Stortini will be the auctioneer for the live auction at 7 p.m. The Kiwanis Key Club students from the Bethel and Franklin Pierce Districts will assist in the service of the evening’s events.
The Parkland-Spanaway Kiwanis Foundation is working to make this annual affair perpetually support their future community leaders as they enter their post secondary education. Corporate and business sponsors are encouraged to make donations. Gift certificates and merchandise are also welcome for the silent and live auctions. The foundation has 501(c)(3) charitable status, your donations are tax-deductible.
