The Pierce Prairie Post wants to make sure you caught the story in The News Tribune about a proposed Aquatic Center for the Bethel School District.

The Bethel School Board is currently investigating and exploring the idea. With the recent issues of adequate funding of schools from the sate level, the board is thinking hard about this idea. The money on hand is from a bond issue and must, by law, be spent on a construction project. It is the ongoing costs of a pool that is the greater concern when funds are tight and educational programs have been cut.
