‘Tis the season for holiday shopping and bazaars. Even in rural areas, crafters are busily making special items that you might want for your Christmas decorating. So the Post is suggesting as you travel out into the south part of Pierce County next weekend looking for that perfect Christmas tree, you will want to stop by the Lacamas Community Center’s Holiday Bazaar Dec. 1 & 2, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to find that perfect decoration or gift for your loved ones. There will be two buildings full of craft items for sale and free crafts for the kids to make while you are there.

The Lacamas Community center has many events throughout the year including a great community fair in August and Bingo on Friday nights at 7 p.m. From April to September, there are Saturday Markets for plants, vegetable starts, produce, household goods, etc. The facility is also available for space rental for your own event.  You can find them online here or contact them at lacamasfair@gmail.com.
