JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. – JBLM commander, Col. H. Charles Hodges, Jr., and 62nd Airlift Wing commander, Col. R. Wyn Elder invite Soldiers, Airmen, and their families to join them in kicking off the holiday season during the annual JBLM Christmas Tree lighting ceremonies.
Dec. 3, 4 p.m., McChord Field
The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at McChord Field begins at 4 p.m. Dec. 3 at building 746, McChord Field Chapel Support Center. The tree lighting ceremony will include singing Christmas Carols and a guest appearance by Santa Claus.
Dec. 6, 4:30 p.m., Lewis Main
The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Lewis Main begins at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 6 in front of Jensen Gym, building 2022. There will be a reception at the Army Family Covenant (AFC) Arena, building 2275 immediately following the lighting ceremony.
