Hanukkah begins at sunset Saturday, December 8, 2012 and ends at nightfall Sunday, December 16, 2012.

For those who are not familiar with the practices of Hanukkah or Chanukah, here is a link to information on the stories and traditions.Traditions include the menorah, or 8 candles which an additional one is lit each night, latkes (potato pancakes), donuts, cheese and  gifts of gelt (money).
