With one week to go until Christmas, the lines at the Post office are long. The main Spanaway Post Office is pictured at about 3:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.
The weather is bringing snow mixed with rain at the moment and the Pierce County Publics Works truck was near the Post Office on B Street applying de-icing fluid to the roadway already squooshy with a layer of slush.
On the way past Cedarcrest Middle School, the sky was dramatic with the clouds that just passed over, dumping the wet snow on Spanaway. In the photo, they are probably fouling the roadways in South Hill and Bonney Lake.
