You are invited to help celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation at the newly established Buffalo Soldier Museum, January 26th, 2013 from noon until 4pm. The museum is at 1940 South Wilkeson Street in Tacoma (near S. 19th and Sprague Avenue).
Spoken word poet Elijah Muied will perform an original work inspired by the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation
The admission is free and light refreshments will be served.
