Maturation Parent Preview

Parents can review the maturation curriculum that will be taught to fifth and sixth grade students during the 2012/13 school year at an upcoming Parent Preview. The Preview is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 4 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the district office, located at 516 176th Street East in Spanaway. Staff will be on hand to answer questions and share up-to-date information. HIV/AIDS Parent Preview

The district is offering an opportunity for parents to review the HIV/AIDS curriculum that will be taught to fifth and sixth grade students during the 2012/13 school year.  The Parent Preview is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the district office, located at 516 176th Street East in Spanaway. Staff will be on hand to answer questions and share up-to-date information on this disease.  This preview is for adults only and attendance is required before exclusions from instruction may occur.  Childcare will not be provided. Families, who are unable to attend this preview and wish to have their child/children excluded, will need to contact their child’s school to make special arrangements to preview the material.
