Cows Meet Clams Workshop
Stewardship Partners has teamed up with The Cows Meet Clams consortium which is offering an educational workshop at Oxbow Farm, February 25th. This five hour tour and workshop will showcase an integrated, hands-on approach to operating a successful and sustainable farm. The holistic approach will combine stewardship, succession planning and marketing economic development that taps into trends in restoration, buy-local and experience-based tourism. Topics include building healthy soil, water and habitat; forest inventories and management plans; cost-share opportunities; incorporating stewardship into outreach and education; low-impact development (Natural Landscaping); marketing tools and how tourism and economic development trends can generate new revenue.
