JR’s is hosting the monthly National Comedy Night February 28 at 8 p.m. This month the featured comedians will be Susan Rice and Owen Straw. Susan has appeared on comedy shows on Comedy Central, Showtimes, PBS and more. According to TDN.com, “She’s a master of portraying the mature woman trying to cope with everyday angst over losing weight, getting into her car when someone parks too close, losing track of a 2-year-old she’s watching in McDonald’s.” Improv.com comments on Owen Straw, “As a stand up comedian, Owen brings a unique energy and deceptive intelligence to his absurdist jokes, easily conquering every audience he steps in front of with his unusual analysis of the human condition, tackling the failures and foibles of life with a monologue spanning childhood, college, office life, and all the screw ups in between.”
