At the March 1 meeting of the Frederickson Clover Creek Community Council, Vice President Dean Absher called the meeting to order. The President has resigned her office due to her husband getting a position in Colorado and the family is moving. So the organization is asking for someone to step forward to take on the office of President.
The Frederickson Land Use Advisory Commission (LUAC) is in need of a member. If you live in Frederickson and are interested in contributing to the ideas of how to make the development in the Frederickson area more compatible with the quality of life, this might be the right place for you. To join the LUAC, contact your county council member to be sponsored to the County Executive for an appointment.
There will be a Spaghetti Feed Fundraiser for the Friends of Stan and Joan Cross Park on Friday, May 31, 2013. Tickets are available to purchase now from an FCCCC member or online here . $8 for age 13 and up, $5 for ages 5-12, free if under age 5. The event will include a dessert auction and entertainment. The event will be held at Clover Creek Elementary, 1715 36th Ave. E, Tacoma, WA 98446.
The Frederickson area is (roughly) Waller Road on the West, Brookdale Road on the North, 208th Street on the South and 86th Ave on the East. If you live there, you should get to know this group because they know what’s going on around you.
