Economics and Environment: How does biodiversity conservation figure into current practice for Pierce County land development? A panel of eight will focus on answering two questions. First, in the last two years, what activities and policies has your organization pursued to safeguard a healthy biodiversity in Pierce County? Second, in the future, what needs to be done to ensure that native biodiversity thrives while Pierce County improves economically?
Participating on the panel will be:

- Kimberly Freeman, Pierce County Parks and Recreation
- John Garner, Pierce County Biodiversity Alliance
- Krystal Kyer, Tahoma Audubon

A social hour from 4:00-5:00 PM, hosted by the Russell Family Foundation, will follow the discussion.
