JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. – The Raider Ready Reserve element of 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, will host a family-oriented event on April 5 to strengthen Raider Family Bonds and Resiliency through good times and fun activities at Holiday Park on McChord Air Force Base.

Activities begin at 9 a.m. and provide an opportunity for Family members of all ages to “be a Soldier for a day”, experience Army training, take Stryker vehicle rides, view static displays and participate in numerous activities as we celebrate the Month of the Military Child.

4-2 SBCT is currently deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

The Raider Ready Reserve is organized, equipped and trained to execute rear detachment operations focused on maintaining Soldier, Family, training and equipment readiness that instill confidence in forward deployed commanders.
