Well, those little hibernating flying insect eaters are about to emerge from their dark wintering places in the Puget Creek Natural Area so it is time to monitor for their presence. Would you like to get trained to monitor bats? Well, they are very important and we need people to go to the Creek and monitor for their use of the area. This is done just before dark about a half hour before sunset. We are doing a training on just how to do this and it is on this coming Monday at 7:30.
To meet get on Ruston Way heading from downtown Tacoma towards Pt. Defiance. You will see the restaurant C.I. Shenanigans on the right then make the next left, North Alder Way, go under the RR bridge and in about a 1.2 block on the right there is a fenced off area and just past it is a gravel area and that is where we will meet.
Let me know if you need any further information. Please RSVP if you are going to attend. Here is our cell if you can’t find the meeting location. 253-298-6156
