It has been over a year since 18 year old Chris Virdell went missing and the family is certain he met with foul play.In KIRO’s coverage, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department also admits this is most likely a homicide case.

It was an emotional afternoon for the Virdell’s retelling their story, but they are glad to finally have some publicity on what was initially classified as a runaway. Adults can disappear, apparently it is their right. The Virdelll’s have always maintained that was not the case for their son Chris.
Anyone with information about what happened to Chris Virdell can contact the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department. Crime stoppers also has a reward for information about the case. Chris Virdell is listed on the National Missing Person’s Registry.
