Notes from the Pierce County Library

The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation Funds Online Gaming at Library
Thanks to a generous Paul G. Allen Family Foundation grant, if you are an adult in Pierce County you may have a new online experience at Pierce County Library System, starting next year in 2014. The $150,000 grant is the largest single donation to Pierce County Library Foundation.

With the grant, library staff and contractors will create a new online way for you to access, learn from and about, and use the Library’s online resources. Residents will also have an opportunity to engage in and become a part of an online community with other readers and learners. Look for more information about this new, exciting, fun service early next year.
