The 55 year old man, who lost his life vest while inner tubing on Spanaway Lake was spotted yesterday at the end of the lake. Authorities were contacted and his body recovered.

The Post was notified by the family’s landlord who also said many kind words about Mr. John Sanchez. Apparently he was a very kind and helpful man who had not only been their renter, but a friend for many years.  In fact, he did give the better life vests to the two women who were inner tubing with him. We are told the one he was wearing only had one clasp as opposed to three.
