I went to Stewart’s Meats in McKenna a week ago, while we were having the wonderful unseasonably warm weather in May. I can’t say I was surprised when there was no standing room in the place; the parking lot was jam-packed and the “take-a-numbers” were almost run out. Apparently ,the beautiful weather put everyone in the mood for a good piece of meat on the barbie.

If you see a streak of good weather coming again, you might want to get there early. However, I was amazed that I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. They were ready for us!
