Bagpipes, dancers, Scotty dogs and wolfhounds, tartans, kilts, flags, and the unusual sporting events were all there. It was a fascinating day for those who came to visit Frontier Park in Graham. Former Secretary of State Ralph Munro was Master of Ceremonies. The National Anthems of the US and of Scotland were sung after a parade of clan bagpipes entered together.
The line for elephant ears was sparse and the line for meat pies, a long wait. It was a crowd of different tastes that the usual fair at Frontier Park. Tents held vendors selling tartan ties and scarves, marmalade and shortbread. Weavers, wool spinners, sheep and longhorn highland cattle were scattered about the park.
