Today, June 30 at 1pm, was the Jousting Tournament featuring the Knights of Mayhem in the Stewarts Arena on Vail Road in Yelm. The event was a benefit for Susan G. Komen breast cancer research and the Rainier Therapeutic Riding program. It was put on by the Northwest Jousting Association.

The event featured a jousting clinic the previous day with Charlie Andrews, a reigning world champion jouster. On Sunday, the knights first threw lances at a target in a hay bale. Then they took swords to cabbages and apples. Finally there was som head to head jousting. The final event was knights in armor jousting in the arena.
