A beautiful summer day for the Raspberry Festival at PLU

Wednesday, July 10 at noon, Pacific Lutheran University held their summer Raspberry festival. There was music by the Fabulous Murphtones and performances by Roberto the Magnificient formerly of the Gentlemen Jugglers. There were children, students, faculty, staff and many local residents all together enjoying a beautiful, sunny summer day and the wonderful ambiance of the park-like setting below the University Center where Clover Creek used to run free.

There is one more summer berry event, the Blueberry Festival, scheduled for August 7. Here are some highlights of today’s Raspberry Festival.
