Pacific Avenue in Spanaway is being re-striped this evening (Thursday 7/18) by WSDOT, the Washington State Department of Transportation. Pacific Avenue, also called State Route 7, is being reduced one lane at a time. At 9 p.m., they set up the southbound lanes and traffic is beginning to back up past the Spanaway Golf Course.

If you can avoid this area tonight, that would be better for you and the workers too. Remember, traffic fines double in construction zones. The extra state troopers are out there too. Stay safe if you need to travel past the work area.
