Jobseeker Strategies workshop Aug. 12 at Parkland Spanaway Library

on

Are you out of work or know someone who is? Is your nearest WorkSource office too far away from where you are?

Many jobseekers do not have sufficient access to the WorkSource offices in our county, but we would like to assist you in your efforts to get back to work. To this end, WorkSource Pierce County and the Pierce County Library System (PCLS) have collaborated to present a series of Comprehensive Jobseeker Strategies workshops in outlying areas of Pierce County.

Representatives from WorkSource Pierce and PCLS will present a Comprehensive Jobseeker Strategies workshop for local area residents on Monday, August 12 at the Parkland/Spanaway Pierce County Library (13718 Pacific Ave S, Tacoma, WA). We will discuss services available through WorkSource and the Go2WorkSource.com website, Pierce County Library Job + Business Center services (including their Job + Business website), finding labor market information that will affect your job search and how to use it to make the best job search choices, networking options, and resume writing and assistance. We want to make sure you have all the tools you need to conduct a successful job search and find suitable employment.

NOTE: This workshop counts as 2 Approved WorkSource Activities on your job search log for that week.

The workshop starts at noon and runs until 5:00 pm. (There are breaks, but plan for your own snacks and water if necessary.)
