There was a street full of vendors, games and music, a parking lot nearly full of shiny, classic cars and bouncy houses, balloons and other delights for children of all ages. It was the Garfield Street Fair. This year the fair was on Park Avenue and Garfield Street to “C” Street. Special hand drawn signs told passers-by of the fair’s presence. The date, Saturday, August 17.
