SPANAWAY, WA — Congressman Denny Heck recently visited the Pierce County Skills Center (PCSC).
He was accompanied by Superintendent Tom Seigel and Skills Center Director Michelle Ledbetter.
PCSC was created in phases. They are launching Aerospace Machining/Fabrication and Automotive Technology in September 2013.
The Bethel School District if the fiscal agent for the PCSC. It is operated in conjunction with Bates Technical College, Pierce College, Clover Park Technical College and Tacoma Community College, and serves students from eight school districts: Bethel, Eatonville, Franklin Pierce, Orting, Steilacoom, Sumner, Tacoma, and White River.
