PARKLAND, WA — The changes to downtown Parkland are well underway. The demolition is complete and the groundbreaking is occurring today, September 10 at 3 p.m. at 323 Garfield Street South.

Few details are available about who will participate in the groundbreaking ceremony. The event is hosted by Affinity Real Estate Management, Inc., the manager of the new property, Garfield Station.

Garfield Station will be a $20 million, four-story mixed use facility. There will be retail shops and businesses on the first floor as well as the PLU Human Resources Department and some other administrative offices.
