PARKLAND, WA — There was quite a spectacle on Pacific Avenue in Parkland today. Driving past 127th Street, there was a giant panda delightfully waving to cars with a sign that said, “Open House.”
Along with the panda was a crew of kids in their blue Lenderman Gi’s waving signs saying, open house, bouncy house and karate specials. Inside there were greeters, a big bowl of Halloween candy and people being signed up at the front desk.
I went in and chatted with Cliff Lenderman; he was my neighbor many years ago. He purchased the bouncy house to promote the business at local events. I know there are many local events that will appreciate this.
Nice distraction from the average commute along Pacific Avenue, Cliff.
