Spanaway Businesses at 723 Networking make donation to SLHS

Spanaway, WA — Tuesday evening at the Bethel School Board meeting, several local business people from 723 Networking presented Spanaway Lake High School’s mentoring program with a check for $741. z723 check

The money represented the proceeds from ABC Day where the group sold raffle tickets, $1 for a chance to win a big screen TV. All the money went to help this group of student upperclassmen who mentor incoming freshmen.

The group calls itself 723 networking which was derived from the time of the morning when they start their meetings on Thursdays at JR’s Whistle Stop. The group has members from Puyallup, Graham, Spanaway, Frederickson and Eatonville and is supportive of activities at the Bethel School District. They also advocate for the Bethel building an Aquatic Center, the Cross Base Highway and Cross Park in Frederickson.
