Dear Supporters Of The Bethel Community,
During the month of November, we often feel a sense of gratitude for the quality of life that we enjoy. We also turn our hearts to those less fortunate.
On January 25, 2014, we have an opportunity to make a difference for those community members who lack the basics of life including shelter, food and health services. Last year the Bethel School District hosted the first Project Homeless Connect event in South Pierce County. As it turned out, nearly a thousand members of our community attended the event to receive needed services. It was such a success that Project Homeless Connect coordinators asked us to host this event for a second year.
Service of this magnitude does not happen without massive coordination efforts and many willing volunteers. Attached is a flyer calling for volunteers. Please forward this flyer to your contacts and consider volunteering as well.
Thank you!
Jay Brower, Director of Community Connections
