FREDERICKSON, WA — We have had confirmation from Representative JT Wilcox indicating that he would like to attend our Saturday morning meeting. I have asked him to address 2 issues of concern for me and probably others before we enter into the pressing matters of Boeing and Transportation. The two issues that I have asked him to address are: (1) The low-income elderly property tax deduction limits and (2) The restrictions associated with the Conservation Futures Program.
And then of course, when it rains, it pours. We have also had a request from Tom Seigel and Jay Brower of the Bethel Schools to speak to us about their upcoming levy items that we will all have an opportunity to vote on at the Feb 11th election. We always enjoy their presence at our meetings so, please see the Revised Agenda. I anticipate that we will call the meeting to order, welcome JT Wilcox for the 1st hour, have a quick and abbreviated business meeting followed by a presentation by Tom Seigel and Jay Brower. At the close of the meeting-special awards will be passed out.
I’ve attached information on an event to help the homeless, a renewal form for FCCCC for those of us who haven’t paid our dues yet and information that I cobbled together about a county road project at 192nd & 78th Ave. I believe that the current preliminary Pierce County 2014 budget will contain other road construction projects in the Frederickson community and I plan on asking them to attend one of our meetings early next year.
