Winterfest provides the joy and spirit of Christmas to 500 low income families who are experiencing economic despair in our own community. The heads of these families are hard working, disabled, laid off, or unable to work.
Children will get to visit with Santa and enjoy holiday festivities like face painting, holiday crafts, and picking a book of their own to take home.
On December 14th, 2013, children will get to visit with Santa, enjoy holiday festivities, and pick a book of their own to take home. Parents will select coats and gifts for their children from the donated items. The LeMay Family Collection at Marymount will be a donation site for books, toys, and coats for children (age 3 to teen) and will also be volunteering at the event.
Please consider donating toys and other items to this wonderful event – drop them off at Marymount when you get a chance!
