ROY, WA – On Friday evening, the City of Roy and the Roy Library will hold their annual Christmas Tree Lighting. The event will begin in the library with Santa visiting all the local children that want to come tell him their wishes for Christmas. There will be cookies, punch and candy canes too.

Around 7 p.m., everyone will go outside and sing as the official city tree is lit up. This is a grand party for the small town. With all the sadness of this past week, perhaps a little joy is in order.
