SPANAWAY, WA — The Spaanway Historical Society Christmas Open House is Dec. 8, 1-3 p.m. at the Prairie House Museum, 812 E. 176th Street in Spanaway.

Come Celebrate Christmas the old fashioned way. The Prairie House Museum is an 1890’s farm house. She’s all decorated for you.

The tree is trimmed, the cookies are baking, the garland all hung. There will be a few extra surprises this year. The new dollhouse will be decorated for Christmas, special miniature displays by the Spanaway Miniaturists. A great collection of vintage quilts will be on display also.

So bring your family to take a tour of Christmas in the 1890’s, taste some of the best cookies in Pierce County and enjoy being with neighbors and friends.

Christmas wreaths are for sale $15.00.

As always there is no admission fee, but they happily accept any donation!
