Eatonville Christmas parade

EATONVILLE, WA — At 6 p.m. Saturday night, the town of Eatonville held a Christmas parade, a very cold Christmas parade in the dark. It was a good night to offer a donation to a local non-profit for a cup of cocoa, coffee or hot cider on the sidewalk while waiting for the parade to pass by. Wreaths, candy and cupcakes were available as well. DSC_2569

Telephone company trucks, 4-wheelers and fire trucks were decorated with thousands of colored lights. Even some horses and walkers had lights illuminating them. There was a wagon pulling a nativity scene and a car decorated with Northwest Trek animals followed by a truck filled with moose and a polar bear. People were walking along handing out taffy, candy canes and other goodies. At the end of the parade, the office fire truck procession ended with Santa and Mrs. Claus on a fire truck.
