BETHEL SCHOOL DISTRICT — Organizers are planning for another large turnout at this year’s Technology and Art Fair. The districtwide event is celebrating 20 years of showcasing the latest educational technology and student artwork.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 25 at Spanaway Lake High School from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
One special highlight will be the Technology Challenge where student teams compete against each other. Another must see is the amazing art created by students in preschool through 12 grade. The artwork is located in the gym and a panel of judges will award ribbons, based on student grade and the type of art.
Student STEM projects and robotics displays will also round out the event.
Every year, about 3,000 people attend the district’s Technology and Art Fair, making it one of the most popular events in Bethel.
