Museum of Flight

Let’s explore the museum of flight in depth as we observe the evolution of air and space technology with the impacts it has had on our world, augmented by highlights of the Pacific Northwest. We will stop to eat at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Tukwila on our way home.

Bricks 4 Kidz (Kidz Night Out)

We have a special evening planned for your children! A fun filled evening of motorized model building with LEGO® bricks. Children will use their creativity to design and build their own models, as well as build with our plans of over 160 different motorized model builds. Featuring motorized builds for all of the following themes: Amusement Park Rides, Famous Buildings, Forces of Nature, Spectacular Sports, Interesting Inventions, Laws of Motion, Space Adventure, Energy is Everywhere, Construction Craze, Amazing Animals – and many more.

Your children will also engage in challenges, games, and creative open play – all supervised by our

professional staff. This will be an evening of fun your children will not forget! Pizza and drinks for each child are provided. Pre-registration required. Space is limited.

Bricks 4 Kidz LEGO Classes

Bricks 4 Kidz offers fun, hands on programs where kids can learn, build and play with LEGO® bricks. Our specially designed project kits and theme-based models provide the building blocks for the Bricks 4 Kidz approach to educational play. Bricks 4 Kidz provides an enriching atmosphere where kids can develop their curiosity and creativity, while having fun and socializing in a non-competitive atmosphere.

Life Science using LEGO Bricks (6 wks)

Explore the fascinating science of living things and build engaging models of creatures from caterpillars to dinosaurs using LEGO© bricks. During this six week unit, students will explore topics such as how the human body stays cool, the amazing life cycle of a butterfly, and investigate the Venus Fly Trap — a plant that eats bugs! If you love creatures, this is the class for you.

Friday Family Movie Night

Are you looking for something to do with the family during January and February? Pierce County Parks and Recreation has you covered! Bring the whole family to Chambers Creek Regional Park and watch a movie on the big screen! Grab your blankets and kick back for an evening of fun at the movies! Concessions will be onsite to fulfill your appetites. Don’t miss our Bricks 4 Kidz Instructors on January 24th as you interact with some models including the walking Seal, tail-flapping Fish and the rocking Sailboat; plus a free raffle sign up give away; a LEGO Disney Princess Ariel’s Magical Boat Ride. Pre-registration preferred and space is limited. Movie begins at 6:30pm. Doors will open at 6:00pm
