ROY, WA — From the mayor of Roy: “If you care about YOUR city – If you want to help make YOUR city better – If you can give a little time for the benefit of YOUR community, this is YOUR chance.   The city of Roy is now excepting (sic)letters of interest for an open council position. Deadline to submit is Feb 10th. You need to have lived within the city limits for a year and be a registered voter.  It’s easier to complain than to be a part of the process by serving YOUR city. We need people to step up and care for their community. Without YOU it might not get done.”

From Councilmember, Pamela Raczykowski, “For those of you that think it is a tough job think differently. It was gratifying, it was informational, it was a pleasure to be sitting in that seat and be a part of the great community of Roy. There is a lot to be learned about the city that you Live in. I would have to encourage those who might be interested to give it a very serious try. You would be working with a great group of people.”

And if you live near Roy, but not in the city limits, you might consider being on the Planning Commission instead.
