SPANAWAY, WA — Snow has been falling all around Pierce County this evening, February 8. Accumulations are expected to continue into Sunday.
Here are a few photos I snapped this evening of the snowload on Pacific Avenue, it hasn’t been plowed yet at 11 p.m.
if you are out on the road, please remember to increase you following distance, especially before stop lights and intersections. In my other life, I work on auto claims. Countless little accidents occur when that “other” car makes a move you cannot adjust for. Also, take the routes with less grade rather than steeper hills.
Otherwise, enjoy the snow break and I hope most of you get to take Sunday off while it lasts. If you make a snow fort or snowman that is magnificent, send it to PiercePrairiePost@hotmail.com.
