Tacoma, WASHINGTON (14 February 2014) — The students, parents, staff, and school board of Franklin Pierce Schools wish to thank everyone who voted in the February Special Election. Both Proposition 1 (Educational Programs and Operations Levy) and Proposition 2 (Technology Levy) were approved.

By approving our two levies, voters have provided our schools with the resources to continue our most important work: the education of our community’s children. 24% of the district’s operating budget effectively relies on Proposition 1. Proposition 2 will continue to provide our schools with the necessary resources to remain at the front of the ever-changing technology curve. Thank you, voters!
