By Spanaway Lake Waterfront Landowners Group
SPANAWAY, WA — This above small, but tireless lake property owners’ group, want neighbors to know that the challenge of correctly interpreting the pierce county shoreline management plan continues! This group mentioned above has been meeting regularly and has committed countless hours going through the draft text, line-by-line.
Why? For an example, in reviewing chapter 18s.40, “Pierce County use & development policies & regulations” (smp) & chapter 18s.60, pierce county “permits & approvals”… There are contradictions between and lack of alignment when comparing some sections of these pierce county documents. We are concerned per the numerous other omissions, discrepancies, and “threats” to your property interests.
Confirmed & critical meeting for not just Spanaway Lake property owners, but for every/all waterfront property owners in Pierce County who want to protect their property rights which are “at risk”.
Do you still want to have a voice and make a difference? How many other property waterfront owners can you get to our march 12 meeting at Spanaway Elementary School at 6:30…the 415 so. 156th St., Spanaway, WA 98387 entrance.
