BETHEL SCHOOL DISTRICT — This year’s Teacher of the Year winner is Laura Handy-Nimick. Laura has taught at Spanaway Middle School for the past five years. This is her ninth year in the Bethel School District.

As in years past, the Teacher of the Year winner is surprised in class during the school day with the news. This year we brought a video camera along so you can share in the excitement as well.
