JBLM Hosting Marvel’s Spider-Man to Promote Bullying Prevention Campaign

JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. – JBLM’s Armed Forces Community Service and the Family Advocacy Program working in conjunction with Marvel Comics are hosting Spider-Man to conduct a series of bullying prevention campaign presentations to students attending elementary schools located on base.

The 12 assemblies scheduled for the on-base elementary schools during the week of April 7 are part of the month long activities scheduled to recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month and Month of the Military Child.

There will be media availability at the Carter Lake Elementary School, located on JBLM McChord Field, during the 1:45 p.m. assembly Thursday.

Media interested in attending the Spider-Man Bullying Prevention campaign assembly are asked to RSVP no later than 10 a.m. Thursday, April 10, by calling the JBLM Public Affairs Office at (253) 967-0152.  After regular duty hours, call (253) 967-0015 and ask for the JBLM public affairs officer on call.
