Eggstavaganza a la wet and cold

FREDERICKSON, WA — It was 45 degrees and raining, but that didn’t DSC_6109dampen the enthusiasm of thousands of local kids at the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Sound Life Church. It did make many of them huddle under umbrellas, throw blankets over their shoulders and eggs bust through many paper based bags.

The Frederickson Clover Creek Community Council was there with their friend “Easter Bunny” to have photo ops with the kids. They also brought information about local land use and the proposed Cross Park.

Face painting, slides, pony rides, food and other great pastimes for kids were also available. But when the rain started really pouring down, the organizers made up their minds to have the clock reset for the egg hunts.

Here are a few memories of a cold, wet and fun day:
